Smoothies are such a quick and easy meal or snack and a great way to add in extra veggies!
Load them up with veggies like cauliflower and spinach (Yes, it really does work!) and you’ll be adding important micronutrients and antioxidants which will boost your immunity, cell function and detoxification. These three smoothies also contain beautiful healthy fats and importantly, they taste great too!
A Trio of Smoothies … Which is your pick?
Green Avocado
1 avocado
Big handful baby spinach
1 tsp grated fresh ginger
1 orange or kiwi fruit
2 cups water
Dash of quality fresh juice.
Creamy Chai
1 c unsweetened coconut milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp mixed spice
1 handful of ice
2 tbs almond butter
2 tsp ground flaxseed
Blueberry Bliss
1/2 c frozen blueberries
½ – 1 cup good quality grass fed milk (or milk of choice)
1/2 frozen banana
3 florets of frozen cauliflower
1 tsp cinnamon
1 Tbsp hemp hearts
1 Tbsp cashews
Handful of ice cubes
